01072011 - A 'Special' Outing

Hrmm, I'm writing up this post because of the promise that I've made to update my blog post and also to have a post truly dedicated to my besties, the one that had been quite influential to me throughout my college life. So, for us to be able to join together in this outing, it's all thanks to Jacquelin, who out of the sudden invited the five of us for dinner, at The Ship, which left everyone wondering why does it seem so special. And to make things looks more mysterious, I lied to them that the day was indeed a special day, which most of them believed but yet weren't able to guess the answer, which is actually nothing. *grins*

So, for me, the day started with a lunch session at Wong Kok restaurant, where I took a full 30 minutes to finish up my meal. (I just talk and talk when I was gonna eat) Then, it was time to catch up with Transformer 3, which I'm pretty satisfied with. And once the movie ended, Penny and Daniel join us up at Pavillion and we started strolling around to kill some time.
(Pictures before the dinner at The Ship are not available)

6.30 pm, and we joined up with Jacquelin and went ahead towards The Ship, and that's when all the cameras came out, along with the pictures of course. x)
Here's some of it:

Partners #1: Penny and Jacquelin

Partners #2: Chrystal and Sukshan.
Partners #3: Daniel and Ronald Khay (Sorry we were too busy with our meals) =P
Now that I've given some brief explanation of the event, I wouldn't continue about it anymore, now I'll just explain what these people actually meant to me.

Suk Shan:
The one friend who's one of closest to me from time to time, from diploma until degree, always the cheerful and optimistic one, but yet, she's also the indecisive one, but basically, we are all the same, because of our 'cincai-ness'. Regarded as the human-GPS of KL routes. We'll always ask directions from her first, before opting for Google Map. The one who never fail to miss out any of our trips and we manage to have fun from time to time. Hopefully in the future as well.

Daniel:
I call him Mr.Buu, because of the nickname he got from our very first trip to Genting. Similar with Suk Shan, he's also the one who've been together with me from diploma to degree, (of course, sem 1 was excluded. LOL) We normally came out with similar kind of answers or thinking, that's why we got along so well. Me and him, we always try to do things the "smart" way, instead of the "hard" way, which basically means, we're not the hardworking ones. But the real problem is, people always get messed up with our names. Tragic!

Penny:
My "heng dai" and also my un-official student. LOL. Sometimes when I see her, the first thing that I'll remember of is AGREEMENT, INTENTION and CONSIDERATION. I get to know her from the Law class, and then our friendship starts to grow. Funny person, but is also very well-focused and determined as well, especially in studies. She's also the one that I think will not get pass the Genting casino's security even when she's 31. =P
Jacquelin:
The only bestie that I've managed to keep in contact from time to time. She's my Thai language teacher too, although the only thing that I've learn is how to curse. *laughs* The one that I seek advice from and also the one who seek advice from me. Talk about yamchar, and we'll instantly be reminded of U-village.
Chrystal:
CSC, one of my 89's gang member. The one that prefers to be referred as young, instead of matured. Funny person, but there were just too few chances to hang out more with her. Things that I reminds me of her is Ferrero Rocher and also "Chun Ji Bao". I'm still having a tough time trying to really figure out what it is. Also the "cincai" one.

Group picture, it'll be perfect if Joanna and Nadia were in it.I'm just glad that I managed to get to know every single one of you.
Thanks my friend for all these years.

@Update on Sept 2012 - Our first flight together to Langkawi

Putting our Genting trips aside, this trip is our very first trip together after our graduation. Most people do it right after they graduate, but we did it a year after we graduate. Which I think showed to people how strong our friendship is.

Here are some pictures to recap the trip:
We went there on 4th Sept-7th Sept 2012

Joined by Chrystal, Desmond, Jacquelin, Daniel, and Suk Shan.
This is at McD KL Sentral.
I'm pretty sure we were pretending to be in some discussion, probably hoping to get a lower price for our car rental.

Our ride for the whole trip. Served the purpose well! Not to mention everyone was buying the number plate too.
Want huat ma..
Waze is still not an option yet.
We really navigated all our journey with that map.
6 of us shared that one room.
It was packed of course, but we wouldn't choose to have it the other way.
(P.S-Desmond's alarm rings at 6am)
Visiting the Cable Car

Going onto the ride pretty soon.
The place was pretty empty.
No queue and plenty of time and space for pictures.
Group picture inside the cable car.
Nope I was not worried at all.
Group pictures at the top.
Don't mind the hair please.
It's never easy to synchronize anything.
Except for this!

Spent our evening on the beach.
Visiting duty free shops!

Seafood for dinner every day.
Pattern time. Near to the eagle statue
Beers were cheap.
And because of the beers we had a lot of interesting events happening at the beach side that night.
I took a lot of photos too!
In conclusion, we really enjoyed the trip. It was like a getaway where you just put everything aside and enjoy it with your best friends. This trip really ends up as a very memorable one for me, because there are a lot of things that happened and was not caught on the camera, but those who were there, I'm sure it's somehow carved into their memories too. Best friends are supposed to have some moments where there are no pictures/videos to prove it, but we will crack our butt laughing at it when we talk about it, and people from outside will never get it.

@20th-24th September 2013 - Phuket: "Serious-shit"

I remember we actually booked the flight ticket for this trip about a few weeks after we got back from Langkawi. Again, we're going economical so it's a year in advanced. But here goes our second consecutive trip. I'm pretty sure it was one of us who kept saying "Serious Shit" to every single thing during the trip, and then everyone just ended up saying "Serious Shit", we even changed our Whatsapp group name to that.  Thus, the trip is indeed serious shit.

I probably bought 4D that day..
Notice how the red slipper stand out among the rest? xD

Our hotel, affordable yet just nice

Guy's bedroom.

We'll start with some group pictures - this is at Patong Beach

At X hill top. I forgot the place's name..

This was the last night before heading back.
7-11; our favourite spot for breakfast and lunch, and sometimes supper.

Guys, we're in 7-11, must take picture..
This is what we do everyday. Queueing up for Thai pancake.
Air liur meleleh..
My personal favourite - Thai Iced tea. Jjang!

No wonder sea water are salty
Before banana-boat
On the way to banana boat
After kena rape by banana boat.
Still a mystery how some people mess up both our name.
Shots fired! But I got the worst result.
An attempt for an artistic picture. OK-OK lah~
Our walking mirror.
A picture is worth a thousand words.
This is when Daniel told me that we MUST NOT go to Bangkok.
Another artistic shot titled: "When can get married?"
There were a lot of pictures that I did not include in this post, and there were a lot of memorable events that I can think of for the trip. Like when;

1. That time when Desmond, Jacq and I went for a full body massage. Both their booth are quiet but mine was full of groaning.
2. That time when the 4 or 5 of us went and sit by the beach side at midnight because we don't wanna sleep. The wind was so damn breezy.
3. That time when we just randomly walk around the street to search for the king of fruits, Durian!!
4. That time when we busted into the room while Desmond and Daniel are both covered in facial mask.
5. That time when we bought beers and played card games in our room at night.

All these memories are firmly cemented in my mind till now. I hope this yearly trip tradition continues, because you guys are like a family to me now.

Cheers to our friendship! Serious shit!
